Let's Go Green.

This entry will officially produce by Nazra in English language as I am taking my effort to establish my English grammar and writing.

I bet all of you have celebrate the Earth Hour a couple of month before. Now why don't you celebrate another day that are related with Earth? Show some kindness to the Earth, will you?

This Earth ........Day celebrated on 22nd April 2009 is a day designed to inspire awareness and appreciation for the Earth's environment. It is held annually during both spring in the northern hemisphere and autumn in the southern hemisphere. It was founded by U.S. Senator Gaylord Nelson as an environmental teach-in in 1970 and is celebrated in many countries every year. The United Nations celebrates an Earth Day each year on the March equinox, a tradition which was founded by peace activist John McConnell in 1969.

Objective:
Earth Day 2009, April 22, will mark the beginning of the Green Generation Campaign!

As a smart customer and consumer, I think all of us can think and try to use the way to make our daily life will go 'Green'. I wish Malaysian can go to work, a date with the love one or anything by a bicycle. Hey, Japanese can do that so why don't we?

AngryFace

Last Saturday, I wish to buy a recycle bag when I go for a shopping trip to Tesco Sg Petani. I think that bag is very cute although it was from gunny. But my dear refuses to agree when I want to buy that bag and he said 'It was from gunny'.

I hope I can buy that bag someday.

Heart

Oh by the way, in the picture below, the bag that I 'want' to buy is the brown one. Hopefully one day.

  1. Welcome to the world of blogging in english Nazra. A good start too, and with such an appropriate subject at the time when people seems to couldn't care less about the earth anymore.

BTW the japanese normally rides their bicycles from their homes to the nearest train stations before catching the train to their offices in the city. There're no car parks at the train station but only for bicycles are available. They can't drive their cars to the offices as there's v v limited or no parking & v v expensive too if any is available. Imagine the massive traffic jams if everyone drives to the office like in KL. Riding their bicycles is okay as their climate in Japan is quite cooling most of the times and they even wear their jacket/coat too whilst riding the bicycles.
